The fiery dart hit its mark. Why did she lower her shield of faith? The enemy had grown so still … she thought he gave up. Complacency is a trap! The woman warrior for Christ will remember this day—not as a day of defeat, but a day of renewed vigilance. The enemy will return, but he will not find her unaware. From this day forward, she will remain alert—ever watchful for her adversary but never forgetting the GREATER ONE resides in her camp. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-11)
