Pray for missionaries spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout this world, often in difficult and dangerous places. Pray for their protection, boldness, and clear direction from the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that these individuals are strengthened in their spirit and receive supernatural favor from those in authority and the surrounding people groups. Pray that other believers remember them in prayer, and that those who walk the mission field have full assurance, by the presence and power of the Lord, that they are right where He has placed them. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
If you have not seen the movie The Least of These (now showing in many theaters) about Graham Staines, we encourage you to do so. It is based on the true story of a missionary from Australia who was called to take care of the lepers in India—people shunned by society and left without hope. It brings to mind the dangers faced by missionaries, even while offering aid to the hurting. It is a beautifully poignant film that is sure to touch the heart of any believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
