Today, she will purpose to place her heart on the Potter’s wheel. God knows the transformation process is not always pretty. Just as He knows the Spirit within her cries out to become more like Jesus every single day. The woman warrior for Christ knows she cannot mold and shape herself. The mirror of her soul is distorted by flesh and her heart is deceitful. Instead, she will surrender to a holy God—who sees all and knows all. He alone can smooth away the rough edges and beautify what the world has broken. He alone can make her new.
“Yes, Lord, mold me and shape me—transforming what is marred into what is beautiful in Your sight.”
But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8)
