Who said this life would be perfect? Was it perfect for Paul? For Peter? For Mary? At times, we need to shake ourselves and remember that God is good no matter the situations we face or the circumstances we must overcome. He is for us, not against us. That doesn’t mean we won’t have tribulations. It doesn’t mean we won’t shed tears. It doesn’t mean that we won’t grow weak. It DOES mean we can know our Lord is faithful. It does mean we can know that the Lord will wipe away our tears. And, it does mean we can cling to Him in every fiery trial. Hold your head up, sister. It’s not over yet.
Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” ~ Daniel 3:24-26
