This month, let us pray for each others’ children. Some of us have sons and/or daughters in jail, some of us have children in the hospital, and some of us have children trapped in the cycle of addiction. Pray for these loved ones, as you would want someone praying for your child.
Pray for our children who need a better job, for those trying to get into college, and for those who are already there and trying to make good grades. Pray for those in school, that the Lord will protect them and use them to show forth the love of the Lord. Pray for those involved in sports, academic clubs, or other extracurricular activities, that they will bring a spirit of excellence to all they do and a godly influence to those they impact.
Pray for our children who are struggling in their marriage. Pray that God heal their hearts and create a happy, blessed home of believers—serving the Lord and proclaiming His Name to a lost and dying world.
Others of us have children who are walking the Christian path. Let us pray that they continue doing so and that they continue to grow in the knowledge and service of the Almighty.
We believe in the power of prayer! Now, let us extend it beyond our four walls to the many families we touch every day—our neighbors, our friends, our coworkers, our family members, and yes, our Sister Soldiers in Christ. Lord, touch our children—heal them physically, emotionally, and spiritually so they may serve you with all their heart, mind and soul. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
