This month, let us pray for the hearts and minds of individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Numerous veterans, and even those currently in the military, continue to suffer in silence. This disease often brings unwarranted shame, resulting in outright denial by victims or even more stress as the person tries to cover up the pain and pretend everything is okay.
Military personnel are not the only people who suffer. Other adults and even children who experienced abusive environments or other high-stress situations have shown signs of PTSD.
Let us PRAY for Jesus to bring healing—whether it is with a miraculous touch, through a Christian Counselor, or by the washing of the mind with the very Word of God. We know that God can make the broken places whole again—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and, we pray for His touch right now.
Heavenly Father, move as only You can. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
