She’s not going back. This is one of those crossroads. She knows the Lord is speaking to her heart—encouraging her to hold fast to the ground she has taken. The woman warrior for Christ will remember ALL that JESUS saved her from: the pit of despair, the pain of regret, and the dictates of her carnal flesh. She will not go back to that place of darkness. She has walked in green pastures. She has tasted the joy of her salvation. She has celebrated the goodness of the Holy Spirit. She is now, and forevermore, a child of God.
I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. (Psalm 40:1-2)
