Her heart is weary … tired of waiting and expecting what has yet to come. She watches others testify of God’s goodness. She hears the praise from those whose prayers are answered. In her spirit, she rejoices with them. In her flesh, she silently wonders when her turn will come. “But, Lord … do You see me?” How He longs to comfort her—to heal her wounds and bind up her broken heart. There will come a time when joy replaces sorrow and laughter replaces tears. For now, she must trust in the Lord, believe He is good, and know that His grace is sufficient. Yes, He sees her, and her time of rejoicing is near.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12 NKJV
