Put away your tin cup. A child of the King does not approach the throne as a beggar. Today, she will enter His courts with praise! She will dance before His eyes with joy! She will sing of His goodness and mercy. What a generous Lord she serves. He pours forth the riches of His presence: love, joy, peace, patience, and hope. What He gives cannot rust or ruin. Let the world have its own pleasures. She will seek the riches of the King.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:4-7)
