If He wanted perfect, does she really think He would’ve chosen her? The Lord knows she is but flesh and blood. But, oh how it blesses Him to know she longs to please Him. How it blesses Him to know she seeks to obey His commandments. How it blesses Him to know she hungers for alone time with Him—intimate fellowship born out of tremendous gratitude no words can contain. The woman warrior for Christ will continue to look for opportunity to walk in obedience … not to achieve perfection or to earn her place at the supper of the saints. But to demonstrate her love toward the One who loved her first. Thank you, Jesus, for your perfect sacrifice. All glory and honor to your Name.
