Her joy is not found in a fleeting feeling, but an inner knowing of the ONE who holds her in the palm of HIS hand. The woman warrior for Christ has learned … while there may be days of dryness and yes, even seasons of sorrow—her joy remains. While work is a battleground and broken relationships bring tears—her joy remains. While loved ones go astray and her health is not what she hoped—her joy remains. Her joy remains for it is in HIM and not the temporal situations that surround her daily life. In HIM is her strength and steadfast deliverance. She will not look with her eyes or discern with her heart, but rest in the knowledge that her joy is complete … in HIM.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness… (Isaiah 61:10)
